Help save QVCC’s Housing Outreach Program!

Our Housing Program has supported upwards of 700 people since it started in 2022. We are asking those that are able to help us match the $25,000 Emergency Grant from the City of Victoria to continue providing vital housing support to the Greater Victoria Area.

Gift of Good Food

The Gift of Good Food, @fernwoodnrg's annual holiday fundraiser, starts November 14 and runs until midnight on December 31. Every year, money is raised to support year-long access to fresh fruits and vegetables for families facing food insecurity throughout Greater Victoria. Donate today at thegiftofgoodfood.ca/donate.

Important note: In order for the donations to go towards the Quadra Village Team total, please check the box that says ‘This donation is part of a fundraising team’ and then choose The Quadra Village Community Centre Team from the drop down menu before checking out. Believe in Kids: Bring the Fun!

  • Camptastiq is in operation through July and August and is open to children ages 5-12

  • Our goal is to provide opportunities for fun, excitement and new experiences for children who may not otherwise have the chance

  • Due to the high population density and the lower incomes that are a factor in many parts of Hillside-Quadra and surrounding areas, many families need camperships so their children can benefit from healthy alternative activities

  • Day trips, art, and sport activities provide our children and youth with the opportunity to grow, learn, and become positively connected with their community

  • While we do our best to keep registration fees as low as possible, many families are simply unable to afford sending their child to camp

One meaningful way of contributing to Camptastiq is through our “Campership Initiative” in which you can sponsor a child for a week or monthly session. An action-packed day of camp costs $19, a week of camp costs only $95 and a 3 week session costs $275  

Another great help is with activity and out trip adventures that make Camptastiq as fun as possible. $15 helps support a fun camp activity for one child and $75 provides for fun activities for 5.

Donate Your Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Quadra Village Community Centre. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to the Quadra Village Community Centre through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the Quadra Village Community Centre to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please click the button below to donate.
