Room Types & Pricing
*An added fee of $35/hr is charged when space is required outside of regular business hours, to cover the cost of a building attendant
*All rentals will need to provide confirmation of an active rental insurance policy. QVCC has an insurance partner that the Facilities team can help you coordinate for subsidized and easy coverage. A refundable damage deposit will be required and will be determined based on the risk to the facility.
*Due to restrictions regarding occupancy limits, we are currently utilizing all available space in the Centre and Community Gym for our program needs. Rental considerations will occur on a case by case basis, and dependent on WorkSafe BC requirements.

Family Room
With a comfortable couch and chairs for adults, and tables and chairs for children, this space is perfect for parenting or mentoring classes, family events, young children's birthday parties and more. Equipped with a washroom, counter space with built in sink, access to the kitchen, tables, books and play space. This room is large enough to push furniture and equipment to the side in order to host a comfortable meeting space for adults. A folding wall separates this and the Community Room, allowing room for multiple activities during the same event [866 sq ft: main section measurements 19.30x39.99] Max occupancy 40 people.

Community Room
The chameleon room - suitable for young children to play in, with access to an outdoor play space. Equipped with a projector screen, counter and built-in sink, direct access to the commercial kitchen, two washrooms (child friendly), chalkboard, tables and chairs for both children and adults...endless possibilities. By opening the folding wall between the Family Room and Community Room., these two versatile spaces transform into one expansive, open-concept area - ideal for larger gatherings, events and multi-purpose programming. With over 2000 sq ft of flexible space in an L shaped layout, this combined room offers the freedom to customize your setup to suit your needs. Perfect for community events, workshops, celebrations, and large group activities, the open layout allows for a variety of configurations, including banquet-style seating, meeting arrangements, activity zones or play areas. Tables and chairs for both children and adults can be easily arranged or cleared to maximize space for movement and engagement.
